Job Title: Sales Manager Area: Hanover , Germany Salary: 40 , 000- 50 , 000 + excellent secondary benefits package Job Description: The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the development and delivery of the sales strategy for the German market. Working closely with senior management , you will deliver profitable sales growth across the company's full product portfolio , achieving budgeted sales and margin targets. The role will involve effective management and development of existing customer relationships as well as proactively seeking new business opportunities. The customer base includes Builders Merchants , Roofing Merchants , Building Contractors , House Builders , Buying Groups and Agents You will inherit a number of national key accounts , for which you will be accountable for ensuring consistent delivery of national customer account targets and regional budgets. You will also be responsible for negotiating trading terms and targets. Furthermore , you will be tasked with identifying and growing new routes to market and sales channels , in line with the wider group strategy. You will also have involvement in executing local marketing activities and promotional activities as well as building a strong understanding of competitor activity to ensure continual improvement of sales and marketing strategies. Person Specification: Our client are seeking a commercially astute and proven field sales professional with demonstrable experience selling into Builders Merchants , Roofing Merchants or Building Products Distribution channels. Ideally you will be educated to Degree level and must be able to demonstrate an advanced understanding of key sales , key account management and new business development principles as well as the ability to think strategically and translate vision into tangible results. You mist be a Native or Fluent German Speaker.
